Everred
Everred is a mod of Celeste Classic that adds completely new levels, themes, and even a few features. There's also music remixes and new sprites. You should play the original game before playing this!
There's three routes through the game (Normal, Gemskip, and Trueskip) that you can take depending on which chests you open; however, the Gemskip and Trueskip routes require speedrun strats that aren't taught here. Lots of credit to Maddy and Noel from EXOK Games for the original game, and special thanks to the Celeste Classic Discord for all the help and feedback.

...strange. I thought it would be more difficult.
Seems that the entirety of Etherealization is exclusive to Foreverred, making this game's Trueskip easier. But, for some reason... it felt harder. I struggled more on the original versions of stages I thought I had mastered, and it was always because of spike jumps. Perhaps the physics are different, or I'm just losing my skill, but it's most likely the former. Now, with both Trueskips conquered... I haven't much left in the realm of Celeste Classic. Sure, deathless Trueskip is available, but that would be too far of a step above what I'm at now. Perhaps now is the time to purchase actual Celeste on Steam so I can get mods for it.
You are correct, the physics were tweaked in Foreverred to make the required tech for Trueskip more consistent. A lot of spikejumps in this version can randomly kill you if your position is misaligned. Fixing this let me get away with much more challenging level design in the remake!
That would explain why the normal Celeste Classic felt so weird to play after doing Foreverred Trueskip. I definitely prefer the consistency of Foreverred, especially since it allows for even more difficult levels. Though, with the exclusion of Etherealization, it becomes that both Trueskips are technically easier than Gemskip in base Celeste Classic.
Also, I did end up buying the full Celeste on Steam. Apparently, the Farewell chapter is only considered "red intermediate" difficulty, so I have a long way to go.
800 seems impossible to me, like actually I need help is there a trick to it?
after this I am downloading real celeste and using this to practice for farewell
Playing original Celeste Classic, I thought the base was impossible because red is one dash in Classic
I can't get past 900m normal lol send help
I have a 5:08 best rn
This is so much harder than either Celeste Classic or Foreverred. Check both of these out too if you find this game first!
yeah, foreverred smoothed out a lot of the rough difficulty spikes from the original version
maybe even better than normal
Is this even possible on trueskip?
It's possible, but it requires a lot of advanced speedtech (spikeclips etc). Wasn't made with casual players in mind, haha. Would recommend checking out the Celeste Classic Glossary if you're interested in learning more: https://celesteclassic.github.io/glossary/
So THAT'S why I can walljump off spikes with the right timing.
spikejumps tons easier here than in forevvered, but spike hitboxes are a lot more painful to dodge around.
Really nice game, but the levels get so hard afterwards, if possible can you post a playthrough of your game?
Good Work! though
I completed the game, it was nice and hard
I like it and the colors as well
Good Work!
Has anyone ever speedran everred?
