Awesome Celeste Classic mod. (Well, except for Inside the Box, that level was really annoying.) To prove that people can suck at this game too, here's my final score with a whopping 297 deaths after just over an hour. Loved the escape sequence, super well done!

I uploaded a video of a later playthrough to Youtube. Now you can see how much I've improved and also how to beat Inside the Box without using speedrunning tactics, since the lack of a guide was really bugging me. Again, great game.

finished it

very fun gimmicks

(my computer reloaded so the time and deaths wasn't my first attempt)

hell yes first time beating this it felt so smooth not the best but smooth

Great mod! The new mechanics were really fun!

I think it's really funny how the exploding crates can crush you but their explosions can't kill you.

All berries was really fun!

(It really was nice to take a break from foreverred gemskip lol)

this is amazing, so many new mechanics, cool music and style, i think it's smoother aswell? I did sorta bad but this is really cool gud job

re: the smoothing, we changed the physics code to remove an off-by-one error in the vanilla game that causes the 'jankiness' of the movement; however, that normally completely screws up how the game plays. Meep actually wrote a genetic algorithm to find the closest possible physics values to the old code while retaining the smoothness, and it turned out nearly perfect. most of the speedrun tricks and setups from vanilla still work too!

What a great and difficult mod, wish there were more mods like this! (how many strawberrys were there?)

<3 there's six berries total, so you only missed one!

What a journey

I nearly gave up on “inside the box” (it took a while to figure out what exactly I was expected to do) but I’m glad I didn’t – that ending sequence was really fun!

how do you do that puzzle?

great question, neither do i.

I figured it out after about twenty minutes. You need to get the second box of dynamite in the lava and get the box on top of that, so it can launch the box on top of the third box of dynamite, which you can stand on to reach the exit.

To do that: go up front and push the first box of dynamite into the lava (don't dash - that will put it too far, just get it to the right edge of the lava pool). Then once it's in, quickly trigger it, go to the right, and dash into the box to push it left. This is the hard part. You have to get the jump just right so you don't overshoot the box or accidentally push it into the right wall or fall into the lava.

Ideally the dynamite explodes when the box is to its left, which propels the box past the lava and into the hole so it falls next to the second box of dynamite. It's tricky though and takes quite a few tries to do for me. The puzzle after that is much easier.
